In order to make this project a success, we are seeking your support to help us build a new preschool facility that will be focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, art , agricuture and mathematics) education.
STEM education is vital for preparing young children for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Research showed that children’s cognitive development , problem-solving, creativity and academic achievements are actually enhanced through early exposure to STEAM skills and concepts.
However, many preschools lack the resources and expertise to offer effective STEM education to their students. This is the reason why we are determined to create a preschool that will offer a rich and engaging STEAM curriculum to our students. Our new facility will have spacious and well-equipped classrooms, a computer lab, a science lab, a maker space, and a library. We will also provide our teachers with ongoing professional development and coaching on STEAM pedagogy and best practices. Our goal is to create a learning environment that will inspire and empower our students to explore, discover, and create.
To make this a reality, we need your help. We are seeking to raise funds to cover the costs of building, furnishing, and equipping our new facility, as well as funding our general expenses for the first year of operation. Your generous donation will make a lasting difference in the lives of hundreds of children and families who will benefit from our STEAM-focused preschool.
The timeline for building the new facility depends on various factors, such as the availability of funds, the design and approval process, the construction and inspection process, and the installation and setup of equipment and furniture. However, based on some examples of similar projects, we can estimate that it might take between 12 to 24 months to complete the project.
